Yamaha SY-2 in Close Encounters
Here's a screen grab of Francois Truffaut playing a Yamaha SY-2 in Close Encounters of the Third Kind. I was watching it with my kids and suddenly realized--there's my synth! If you look really close, the keys that play the "Close Encounters" tune are marked on the keyboard. I guess sheet music would have been too hard for 5 notes :)
